Women with bigger boobs are more confident than those with smaller breasts, a study found yesterday (Wed).
Ladies with a D cup or bigger like Apprentice winner Yasmina Siadatan, who is an eye-popping 30 GG, feel more comfortable within themselves and in many cases are happier with life in general.
The study of 3,122 women nationwide also revealed those with cup sizes of AA and A are less confident and far more conscious of their body.
It also emerged almost eight out of ten women aren't happy with the size or shape of their boobs.
Yesterday (Wed) a spokeswoman for Bravissimo, the lingerie company for women with bigger boobs, said: ''Women are notoriously good at wanting what they don't have.
''Women with curly hair would love to have straight and vice versa, the same can be said for boobs.
''There is a common misconception amongst women that having a bigger bust is the male preference and I believe this is an influencing factor as to why those with smaller boobs feel less confident.
''But it's a well known fact that men prefer body confidence to boob sizes. Conversely, you'll also find many women with bigger boobs wishing they were a little smaller, more pert etc.
''Generally women with bigger boobs are more conscientious about going for regular bra fittings out of necessity, not having the right size bra can cause all sorts of health problems over the years.''
The study revealed women with average boobs - a B to E cup - are most happy with their bust with four out of ten claiming they wouldn't want them altered.
Three quarters of those with smaller boobs said they wanted larger ones while one in four of those with boobs in the 'big' category - an F to G cup - said they were happy with their size but were unhappy with their shape.
Asked to rank their happiness on a scale of one to five more women with 'very big' boobs opted for a five than any other size.
While women with smaller boobs lack confidence within social situations the study found they are more likely to enjoy active and full sex lives.
They are also more confident stripping off and being seen naked by their partners than women with larger assets.
But they are less comfortable getting undressed in front of other women.
It also emerged more than one in four of the AA to A cup sized women rated their sex life as a five compared to one in four women in the other categories.
By contrast one in four women with cup sizes GG to KK gave their love life a disappointing one out of five.
Bravissimo carried out the study to highlight how important wearing the right bra size is.
The retailer, which also has 20 stores in the UK, prides itself on its staff being able to determine a woman's correct bra size both in person and over the phone without the use of a tape measure.
A spokeswoman added: ''We have fitted millions of women over the years and we generally find it is not necessarily the size of a woman's breasts that impact on confidence, a lot of the time it is actually more to do with the fit of their underwear.
''A badly-fitting bra can make you stoop and roll your shoulders, whereas a great fitting bra will instantly improve posture, making you stand tall, which can have a very positive effect on confidence levels.
''And with an estimated eight of 10 women wearing the wrong size bra, that's a lot of women due a confidence boost with a simple bra fitting.''
